Junkers Ju-90Z-3

In their desire to serve Europe SAA recognised the need for a longer range aircraft. Two 4-engined Ju-90 aircraft were ordered and built, although never delivered due to the outbreak of WWII. The SAA crew who were training on the aircraft when WWII was declared managed to escape Nazi Germany and return to the Union. The two aircraft were initially kept in storage by Junkers as it was anticipated that the war would be over very quickly and normal relations would be re-instated but this was not to be. Eventually these two aircraft were delivered to the Luftwaffe and utilised as transports by them.
Normal passenger load: 40

Colours
Most likely the Ju-90’s colours would of been similar to the Ju-86Z.
